My story as a filmmaker began at 16 years old, when I started working in the news industry. My mother filmed weddings at the time, and I always found it fascinating. During my six years of experience in news, I became an expert in filming equipment and techniques, and also developed the knack for storytelling that is seen in my work today. I went on to obtain a degree in Journalism, and actually discovered my talent for wedding videography while working on a Valentine’s Day series for my local news station. Given the opportunity to film a surprise ceremony for an unsuspecting bride, I ended up with a surprise of my own: I loved documenting weddings! From then on, I knew that I wanted to branch out and continue filming happy couples whenever I could.
My primary goal when working with wedding clients is ensuring that each video reflects the unique personality and history of the couple it features. I don’t believe in cookie-cutter wedding films, and I strive to get to know my clients so I can deliver a highly customized finished product to every couple.
Apart from looking at the world through the lens of a camera, I love animals, speaking French, and dark & rainy days. Between weddings, you can usually find me relaxing at home, enjoying the company of my sweet puppy, Soufflé.
